Letter from Michel to his mother. He thanks her for the letter that she sent to him. He expresses his gratitude and pride that she learned how to write so that she could write him a letter in her own hand. He asks God to give him the power to fulfill his duty to his family. He sends them all his greetings and kisses.

رسالة من ميشال إلى والدته يشكرها فيها على التحرير الذي بعثته له مؤخرًا. ويحييها على جهدها بتعلم الكتابة من أجل أن تكتب له وهو في الغربة. كما يسأل الله أن يقدّره على أن يقوم بواجبه إزاءها وإزاء أخيه جورج وشقيقاته. ويرسل لها تحياته وقبلاته.
