Letter from Alice to Salloum Mokarzel

Title

Letter from Alice to Salloum Mokarzel

Description

A letter from Alice to her father Salloum Mokarzel, written in Beirut, Greater Syria (modern-day Lebanon). In this letter, dated January 30, 1926, Alice questions why she hasn't heard from her father in quite some time even though she hasn't failed to write him every week. She understands that it is likely because he is busy but she is anxiously awaiting his response. Nevertheless, Alice updates her father about an incident that happened in school regarding a young girl, her older brother, and their family. Alice and her family go to church every Sunday unlike the other girls at school.
