Letter from Michel to his brother Georges, his mother, and his sisters. He sends his greetings. He tells them that he ended his partnership in Cartagena and that he will stay sole owner of his store. He expresses his hesitation about the visit of his family to Cartagena. He promises his family that he will be coming soon to his homeland. He asks them to leave their home in Beirut and go to the mountains during the hot summer. He also tells them that he has sent to them 100 English pounds.

رسالة من ميشال الى أخيه ووالدته وشقيقاته. يرسل فيها تحياته. كما يخبره أنه فض الشراكة مع شريكه. كما يعلمه أنه في حيرة من مجيئهم الى كرتهنا وأنه يفضل أن يهذب هو اليهم. كما يطلب من أخيه أن يذهب الى الجبل وأن يتركوا بيت بيروت خلال الحرّ. كما يعمله أن ارسل مائة ليرة انكليزي.
