Letter from Michel to his brother Georges. He tells him about the bad economic and political state of Colombia. He fears a civil war. He describes how the people are divided into two groups: the pro-government (businessmen and traders) and the pro-red party (laborers and peasants).

رسالة من ميشال إلى أخيه جورج يصف له سو الحالة الاقتصادية والسياسية في كولومبيا. وهو يخبره كيف أنهم مهددون بحرب أهلية. الشعب مقسوم قسمين: قسم مع الحكومة (رجال الأعمال والتجار)، وقسم مع الحزب الأحمر المتطرف (العمال وقسم من الفلاحين). وأخيرًأ يرسل تحياته إلى والدته وشقيقاته.
