Biographical/Historical note

The Parker Family Papers are largely made up of paperwork related to the naturalization and military service of Peter Aledo Parker. Peter, according to his certificate of naturalization, was born in 1895, presumably in Turkey. He served in Camp Sevier in Greenville County, South Carolina.

Scope/Content note

The Parker Family Papers include a photograph of diner employees and paperwork related to the naturalization (in 1918) and military service (honorably discharged in 1919, certificate given in 1950) of Peter Aledo Parker.
