Introduction
Doumit Ishak was born in Lebanon in 1964. Doumit moved to the United States in 1985 and attended college in Tennessee, but left school to move to Raleigh, North Carolina where other family members were living. Doumit worked at Neomonde, a Lebanese restaurant owned by the Saleh family, for about two years before going back to school at North Carolina State University.
The Ishak family are active participants in the Raleigh-area’s Triangle Lebanese Association.
Scope and Contents
This collection contains photographs of an Ishak family trip to Lebanon and feature images of the family and unknown relatives or friends and a variety of landscape views.
