Michelle Tager Oral History Conducted by John Horan and Lindsey Waldenberg Part 1 and Part 2

This interview with Michelle Tager recounts her life story, beginning with her childhood in Beirut and its suburbs before the civil war. She described her family's political background, her education in religious schools, and the stark changes brought by the war in 1975. Her family moved to France, where she completed her education, earning a law degree and starting a family. She detailed the challenges of adapting to life as an immigrant in Paris, and later in Washington D.C and San Francisco.
