This interview with Side Mitchell Mack, recounts his family's history, beginning with his grandfather's immigration from Lebanon to the United States in 1903. He details his grandfather's journey, the accidental renaming of the family to "Mack" at Ellis Island, and his establishment as a peddler in North Carolina. Mr. Mack also discussed his own life, including his education at Davidson College and Harvard Business School, his service as a naval officer during World War II, and his eventual return to Mooresville to take over the family business.
