Greg Hatem is a second generation Lebanese American. He was born in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina in 1960. His family immigrated from Hammana, Lebanon in the 1920’s and settled in North Carolina. In this interview, Greg discusses his family’s story including their family business, a dry good’s store, and grappling with his Lebanese American identity.
