بتاريخ ٢٩ اب ١٩٢١. اسعد يخبر الاب طوبيا بولادة ولده فؤاد، ويطمنه بان صحة زوجته على ما يرام. ويعلمه ايضا بان الاعمال لا تسير على ما يرام خاصة بعد الحرب.
