Description
Vol. 2 No. 6 of الفنون, Al-Funun, was published in November 1916. It includes short stories by Kahlil Gibran, Ameen Rihani, and Salimah Mitraj; poetry by Iliya Abu Madi, `Isá Tuma Khanfur, Ilyas Ta`mah, and Rashid Ayyub; and an essay by Hanna Khabbaz. The serialization of Rihani’s novella Zanbaqat al-Ghawr [The Lily of the Valley] is continued. A work by Aleksandr Kuprin is translated from Russian.
