Syrian-American Commercial Magazine Vol. 01 No. 10

Vol. 1 no. 10 of al-Majalla al-Tijarriya contains articles on the expected development of Mesopotamia; trade opportunities with Morocco; the commercial potential of Palestine; and the second part of Dr. Philip Hitti's history of Syrian merchants in twelfth-century Genoa. Translations include a report by Trade Commissioner P.L.Bell on Syrians in the Cartagena District of Columbia and an article from the Annalist about President Woodrow Wilson's views on industrial unrest. Salloum Mokarzel's editorial called for Syrians to form corporations and to trade with their native country and a comment on the need for promotion of Syrian business to American companies.
